Banana Sugar Free Bread Made With Eggs, Cinnamon And Garnished With Agave

Preparation time – 10 minutes

Cooking time – 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Flour – 125 gm
  • Mashed Banana – 3
  • Cinnamon powder – 2tsp
  • Egg – 1
  • Butter – 50 gm
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp
  • Sultana – 75 gm
  • Vanilla essence –  2 tsp
  • Milk – 1 tbsp
  • Agave syrup – for garnishing

Directions

  • Preheat the oven at 160-degree centigrade. Take a baking tin of 1 pound and cover the base with parchment paper.
  • Take a bowl and add the mashed banana, egg, milk, vanilla essence, and butter. Whisk them very well so that you get a smooth mixture.
  • In another bowl, add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and sultana. Give them a good mix. After that, pour the banana concoction into this flour mixture and using a spoon mix properly.
  • Tip this batter into the prepared baking tin and insert it in the oven for baking for about half an hour. You can insert a skewer in the cake to check whether it is done or not. If the skewer is clean after taking out, your bread is ready.
  • After bringing it out from the oven, allow it to cool. Then pour the agave syrup on it and cut into slices.

Banana Bread With Almonds, Coconut, And No Sugar

You can make the banana bread differently too just as I did. I have used coconut oil, shredded coconut, and almonds in the recipe along with the banana, cinnamon, and vanilla. So let’s start.

Preparation time – 10 minutes

Cooking time – 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • Bananas – 4, ripe (3 for making the bread and 1 for garnishing)
  • Flour – 1 cup (opt for gluten-free variety to make it extra healthy)
  • Shredded coconut – 1 ½ cups
  • Coconut oil – 125 gm
  • Cinnamon powder and salt – a pinch each
  • Vanilla – 2 tsp (you can use either essence or extract)
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp
  • Almond – 1 cup, ground
  • Eggs – 3

Directions

  • Preheat the oven at 180-degree centigrade. Cover the base of two baking pans with parchment paper.
  • In a big size bowl, mash 3 bananas. Now add the flour, eggs, baking soda, and coconut oil, salt, vanilla, and ground almond. Whisk them thoroughly.
  • Pour this batter into the baking pans. Now cut the remaining 1 banana into slices and place them on top of the batter in both the pans. Sprinkle cinnamon on the top.
  • Insert the baking pans into the oven and bake for around 45 minutes. Take the pans out and allow them to cool.
  • You can have slightly warm banana bread, or you can store it in the fridge to have later.
