Sugar-Free Marshmallow Recipe

Undoubtedly, making delicacies by oneself adds to the fun and gives a sense of freedom to eat what one likes whenever there is a craving. Here is a simple recipe on how to make sugar-free marshmallows using only four ingredients. Let us begin!


Unflavoured Gelatine powder – The essential ingredient of this recipe is unflavoured gelatine powder. Ensure that the gelatine powder that is used is a good quality powder. It will make sure there are no clumps in the mixture.

Erythritol or Allulose – Marsh mellows are not complete without the mandatory sweetness. However, this is a recipe for Sugar-free marshmallows. There are various safe and popular artificial sweeteners available in the market, such as Erythritol or Allulose. These are highly recommended artificial sweeteners. 

Vanilla extract – The marshmallows taste heavenly when there is a yummy flavor to them. So, you can add vanilla extract if you want a pleasant aroma.

Water – The other most important ingredient is water when you want to create sugar-free marshmallows. We can use any water, and even tap water works fine for the preparation.

How to make Sugar Free Marshmallows: 

Now it is time to prepare the marshmallows. Here is the step-by-step procedure to make sugar free marshmallows: 

The first step is to add water into a bowl and sprinkle the gelatine powder in it. Mix the water and the gelatine powder.

Let the mixture sit for about ten to twelve minutes to get a gooey texture.

Place some water in a saucepan and add Erythritol or Allulose. It will add sweetness to the preparation.

Turn the heat on to medium and let it boil.

Gently stir the mixture until it boils. Once it is cooked thoroughly, take it off the stove.

Now, empty the gelatine mixture into a food processor. 

At a low speed, turn the food processor on and start beating the mixture.

After about 30 seconds, slowly add the boiled water mixture into the gelatine mixture.

Add a small amount of vanilla extract and mix for another 11-12 minutes. It is natural for stiff peaks to form.

Finally, transfer the marshmallow mixture into a flat pan and spread until it is even.

Refrigerate for a minimum of two hours and cut it into slices.

We can add artificial sweeteners (powder) on top for added sweetness.
